First, apologies to the blog’s loyal readers for the long delay in posting. (But thanks for the hundreds of views even during the weeks that there were no updates!) But after a mid-winter hiatus, Without Bacon is back! 2012 looks to be a fun and exciting year for the blog. Here are a few things to look forward to:
–Guest reviews from other cities (if you’re interested, drop a line to email@example.com)
–“Frugal Fridays”: occasional reviews of less-pricey restaurants. (Going to Eleven Madison Park every day would be fun, but also bankrupting!)
–“Steakhouse Roundup”: what can you get when your carnivorous friends make you go to a steakhouse? Look here to find out.
–“Home cooking”: Some interesting vegetarian recipes that you can try out at home.
And of course, the usual: reviews of vegetarian options at the top restaurants in New York City and beyond! There are a bunch of reviews in the pipeline: Devi, A Voce Columbus, at Vermillion, Boulud Sud, Tocqueville… and even a bit of international flavor (a Michelin-rated slow food restaurant and a place that specializes in truffles run by a Michelin-starred chef, both in Brussels, Belgium; keep your eye out for other international spots in coming months).
As always, if you have any comments/questions/feedback/criticism, leave a note in the comments, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
